Every monthly donation helps educate more kids like Mamta
In spite of her father being completely cured of leprosy, living in a colony designated for leprosy patients to stay in made life unbearable for Mamta. She always felt the stigma of the tag of her father being a leprosy patient at some point.
The fact that both her parents were alcoholics did not make things any better for Mamta. This, however, did not stop her from growing into a kind-hearted girl. She takes tailoring classes in her community and aims at clearing her Board exams in the hope of a bright future.
Mamta befriended Kajal, who due to her dwarfism, shares the pinch of social stigma. Mamta takes Kajal to school every day on her bicycle and treats like family.
